Handwoven textile made on traditional looms in Al-Majdal near Gaza. The cloth combines silk and cotton threads in vertical red, yellow, green, and black stripes, creating its distinct shimmering pattern. Majdalawi weaving, once widespread, was cherished for its durability and beauty. After 1948, production nearly disappeared, but artisans in Gaza and the West Bank continue to revive this heritage craft, preserving a vital symbol of Palestinian resilience and identity.
